Royal Society Journals

So, recently I did a whole load of journal covers for the Royal Society of New Zealand. I believe I'm now officially responsible for the look of over half the countries academic output. On a more serious note, a very nice project to work on - strong imagery and a simple, bold cover design that relies on a strong colour scheme to differentiate between disciplines. 

On a (slightly) related note, I'll be off to this part of the world very soon - I'm going to Australia! I'm going to be taking a lot of pictures I should imagine (I've already bought a new memory card in preparation) so I'm sure I'll put one or two of the best up when I'm back.

Earth's Elementals logo

Well it's the New Year, so I thought it was probably time I posted something on here and gave the ol' gal a bit of a facelift.

Here's a logo I designed recently, for Earth's Elementals. They're a new company that sells spiritualist bits and pieces online. The brief was quite specific for this one, as they had a pretty clear idea what they wanted, and quite a tight deadline. This was a freelance job, outside of studio time - really enjoy doing these!

In other news, work on the studio website is progressing very nicely. I hope to have it live soon, but there's still a lot of portfolio stuff to organise and of course it goes to the bottom of the pile everytime we get a new job!
